Grant Programs

The ability of our Community Foundation to make grants depends upon the generosity of our donors and their charitable interests, as well as the availability of investment earnings. This page provides information for grantseekers about funding opportunities.

  • Improving school readiness for children in the birth to five age group
  • Growing more efficient, sustainable organizations
The Community Foundation is pleased to partner with the Smithville Charitable Foundation to increase the funding available for grant requests. All applications submitted to the Community Foundation will also be forwarded to the Smithville Charitable Foundation for review and potential funding. The Smithville Charitable Foundation will notify applicants directly no later than October 31, 2011.
