Grant Programs
The ability of our Community Foundation to make grants depends upon the generosity of our donors and their charitable interests, as well as the availability of investment earnings. This page provides information for grantseekers about funding opportunities.

Grant Guidelines

Community Open Grants Cycle
The Community Foundation has offered at least one annual grant cycle addressing broad community needs every year since 1991. Monies from unrestricted funds and most field-of-interest funds have been awarded through this process. Below are the 2008 Open Grant Cycle application materials.

Grant dollars awarded from this grant program should be expended within 18 months of the award date.  If you have not completed your project/program within the 18 months, you may request an extension.  Extensions are considered by our board on a case by case basis.

For more information, please click on the grant information below. If you have any questions, please contact Renee M. Chambers, Program Director, at 812-333-9016 or email renee "at" cfbmc.org.
